My name is Pernell J. Griffin and I welcome you to The Griffin Experiment!  I grew up in the small town of Williamston, NC where I have always believed that sports are bridges to developing ourselves personally.  In high school, I was a four sport athlete, playing football, baseball, track and basketball. (I lettered in all four sports)

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Education with a concentration in Information Technologies from East Carolina University, where I also lettered in football as a four year starter.  I proceeded to play professionally with the Frankfurt Galaxy and the Amsterdam Admirals (NFL Europe).  I have 15 years experience working with at-risk youth.  I am an active member of the youth advisory committee at my local church, Little Thankful Praise and Presence Ministries.  I have over 5 years of coaching experience on the recreational and high school levels.

I am happily married to Mrs Latonya Joyner-Griffin.  We have four beautiful children (Nyeimah, Pernell Jr, Chase, and Evan).
